Mission Statement

For Their Honor’s mission is to enable and produce the most prepared and transitioned Veterans that will be successful both personally and professionally.

Objective

For Their Honor is a nonprofit organization that specializes in helping Veterans and active duty personnel make the transition from military life to civilian life.  Through a unique six phase process, For Their Honor engages with active duty personnel, Veterans in transition, and Veterans who have transitioned without a strategy by helping them assess their values and goals; providing recreational opportunities so Veterans can experience quality time with their families; leveraging strategic partnerships with universities to provide undergraduate, graduate and vocational training; and providing industry-specific seminars to prepare Veterans for Career Planning and searching.  The foundation of the For Their Honor process is the identification of values, roles, goals and self-assessment process.  This enables the Veterans to plan in alignment to their values what matters most to them.  One of our  primary programs is the Military Veterans Education Program (M-VEP) Program, which is strategically partnered with Jacksonville University and allows For Their Honor to use the university’s facilities to offer its programs.  As our organization develops its presence in the Jacksonville area, we will seek to expand into other universities within the Northeast Florida Veteran College Network (NFVCN), as well as major cities throughout the United States (US). The latter will consist of expansion into one additional major university in the eastern US, two major universities in the western US, and two major universities in the central US.
